Sussex Safety was founded in 1986 by Steve and Ruth Robotham. We are passionate about Health and Safety Risk Management and passing our information onto others. We have many contented clients who return to us year after year.
Our goals are to:
- Avoid workplace damage and ill-health and make firm more accomplished
- Spread a common sense health and safety message.
- Help organisations succeed legal compliance in an easy, cost effective way, concentrating just on what is practicable.
- Assist safety practitioners along their career path to reach their potential
Steve has many years’ experience in both engineering and the Ambulance Service, as well as working in organisations in many other areas. He has taught NEBOSH courses at both Certificate and Diploma Level for over 25 years and has been a NEBOSH examiner.
Qualifications: MSc in Safety Management, Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner, Qualified teacher, NVQ Assessor and IQA
Ruth has 30 years’ experience in healthcare risk management, as well as working for a range of other organisations. She worked in the NHS for 30 years and as a health and safety officer for an independent London hospital for 14 years. She has taught NEBOSH and IOSH courses for over 20 years and has been a NEBOSH examiner.
