LMC is proud to be our community’s supplier of technical, professional and creative education, concentrated supplying  young people and adults with the abilities and information to enable them to progress into employment or on to further study. We work entirely with our local employers to shape each syllabus pathway, ensuring our graduating students are highly employable with the abilitiess that local businesses need. We are excited to be working in partnership with Eden Project Learning to develop a new place-based syllabus to meet future employment wants and to utilize our wonderful local landscape as a matchless learning resource. The College has high expectations of all and ensures a purposeful, inclusive and supportive environment to help you to become ‘work ready’ or progress in your selected career. We welcome school leavers, but LMC has an all-age offer. Our students behave to high standards and feel welcome and safe in our campus-style, state-of-the-art learning environment. Our excellent facilities are designed to meet or exceed industry standards and enable students to choose from a large diversity of work-related courses. More than 90% of our students progress positively into work, further and higher study. As a key Apprenticeship supplier in the local area, we have links to over 700 employers, delivering Apprenticeships across 30 occupational fields. We have a team dedicated to matching employer vacancies with the right candidate, which often leads to a full-time profession. We also work closely with local employers to equip our graduating Apprentices to be well placed to secure entire time employment with businesses across the area or to progress onto further study.
