Attendees come from many industries.

Enthought also provides consulting services to develop customized scientific software, the majority using Python, to solve specific business challenges across a range of industries. This ensures that Enthought training courses are at the leading edge of solving challenges facing companies today.

From its origins in 2001, Enthought has provided open and in-house courses in scientific computing to industries including chemistry, life sciences, manufacturing, finance, aerospace, energy, and pharmaceuticals. In 2018, Enthought trained over 1,000 technical experts in a range of techniques. A number of these individuals and institutions participate in the annual SciPy conference, which Enthought founded in 2002 and today remains the institutional sponsor.
