Operations/ Departmental Manager Level 5 Standard

The Operations/ Departmental Manager Level 5 Apprenticeship is ideal for Apprentices who are at the start of their career and who wish to take their first steps into professional management. This apprenticeship is also great for those who may already have developed practical experience but wish to develop their theoretical understanding of management skills.

What will the apprentice learn?

The Apprentice will learn about a range of fields such as operational management, finance, project management, building relationships, leading and managing people, decision making, management of self, responsibility, and professionalism.

How does the apprenticeship delivery work?

The Apprentice will work towards an information test, interview, portfolio assessment, project presentation, Q&A, and professional discussion. With guidance and learning from Blue Sky’s Development Advisor, the Apprentice will compile a range of evidence. This includes assignments, professional discussions, presentations, and observations to demonstrate talents, information and company behaviors.

Qualification details:

On completion, apprentices can register as full members with the Chartered Management Institute and/or the Institute of Leadership & Management, and those with 3 years of management experience can apply for Chartered Manager status through the CMI.
