This training sheds light on one of the most commonly misunderstood concepts affecting teams – personality. From a team perspective, we discuss what personality really is, the challenges it poses in groups, as well as the opportunities it creates for those who learn to harness it. Participants engage in exercises that guide them through an in-depth exploration of their personalities in the context of communication, conflict, decision-making, and creativity. Group activities and class discussions focus on the benefits of diverse teams while also highlighting their “conversity”, or core commonalities. This encourages participants to bring empathy and appreciation to interpersonal interactions in, as well as outside of, their workplace.
Prior to the workshop, participants complete the Personivate Profile. The individual results of this psychometric survey will be interpreted and shared in a customized report. During the session, participants will be given time to consider the findings. The report will serve as a desk reference for activities and discussions, and also as a takeaway that can leveraged on the job.
