Those who have obtained the P3O Foundation certificate and now wish to upgrade their knowledge and certification to the Practitioner level.
This course is designed for individuals newly-appointed to leading portfolio, program, or project office roles or those wishing to gain formal qualifications after a period of support office experience.
A P3O model provides a decision enabling/delivery support structure for all change within an organization. This may be provided through a permanent or temporary office (or set of interlinked offices). These “offices” come under a variety of names eg Portfolio Office, Centre of Excellence, Enterprise or Corporate Programme Office.
OGC’s PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes, and Management of Risk all touch on the need to provide adequate support structures for these best practices. P3O comes from the same family and provides guidance for organisations or individuals who wish to set up or run an effective delivery support office.
