Description
How behavior preferences show up in our daily lives and influence our success.
Meyers Briggs Typology Instrument has been around for decades and used frequently within corporations and teams. It is equally useful across a wide range of industries, as there is so much insight to be gained by understanding one’s own, and others’, type. Many participants comment that even though it was helpful to understand oneself, it was even more helpful in understanding others. Instead of thinking of someone as a “bean counter” they realized that this person had a strong preference for data and information. The insights abound and lead to stronger interpersonal relationships and more productive conversations.
Lack of understanding of personality differences often influences how well individuals and teams work together. With an understanding of why people behave the way they do, each person has a broader range of tools to use to ensure understanding and to work effectively together.
