Description
Conflict is a part of daily human interaction. How we deal with conflict, however, is up to us. You CAN learn to recognize your own patterns and manage conflict in healthy, productive ways. In this course, you will improve self-awareness around conflict behaviors, you will understand how your thoughts can impact your conflict behaviors so that you can reframe your thoughts and choose more productive behaviors during conflict. These are critical skills for any team leader or manager of people.
This course includes three modules that cover the following:
MODULE 1
Develop a broad conceptual understanding of conflict, as well as your own style in conflict and others’ style in conflict. You will also discover your own personal motivators and stressors in conflict.
MODULE 2
Next you’ll learn how automatic thoughts influence destructive behaviors, and how to identify and understand destructive conflict behaviors that you use. Finally, you will recognize your own automatic thoughts and actions during conflict.
MODULE 3
The last step in this course is to practice stepping back and reframing your thoughts during conflict. You will learn to identify when automatic thoughts become unhealthy. You will also evaluate your own automatic thoughts, and then practice reframing automatic thoughts, and practice productive responses to conflict.
