Leaders, team members, consultants, and others within organizations may at times be called on to meet with a group and help them think and work together to solve a problem or reach an agreement or decision. Leadership skills in these situations do not always come naturally to people, but they are necessary to get the most possible out of a meeting.
That’s why Barnes & Conti Associates developed Facilitating Forward™. This program aims to develop skills in facilitating meetings for project managers and other leaders who need results when they have a team together. Participants will learn fundamental facilitation skills in observation, communication, and intervention. They will have the opportunity to gain useful insights, a practice learned group process tools and techniques, and learn when and how to move between being a leader and being a facilitator. These skills will be useful for both virtual and in-person meetings.
