This 2-day workshop has been taught at Department of Energy facilities and covers DOE Order 422.1 for Conduct of Operations Programs at DOE and NNSA projects. The workshop emphasizes the roles and responsibilities of front line supervisors and managers, providing them with tools and guidance that establish a set of behavioral-based standards of excellence, and tools for identifying at risk behaviors that must be stopped and error likely situations that must be avoided.  After completion of this course, students will understand why Conduct of Operations is “a vital barrier for preventing injury, environmental insult or asset damage,” and learn the skills and techniques needed to achieve excellence in Conduct of Operations.
