Description
Our lives won’t magically go ‘back to normal’, and many are discovering that their previous coping strategies are simply no match for a shock like the pandemic. Individually and as a team, leaders will need to learn how to self-advocate, support self-care, collaborate, and communicate effectively in distributed work settings, and determine how to ‘pull the cord’ when things get out of control.
Businesses today operate in conditions of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity, which favor those who are agile and change-ready. The readiness needed can be developed culturally by creating an environment where change is expected, agility is praised, and mistakes are tolerated and corrected without punishment. Creating this kind of culture and conditions will allow your business not only survive an external shock but thrive and become even better.
